London Liverpool Street Station, OIL ON CANVAS - 2008

I grew up in Essex, North East of London and Liverpool Street Station was the gateway for me into London. It has a special place in my childhood memory and unfortunately I've stood underneath that platform board wondering if I will ever get home. It used to be rather grim and then it was renovated. This painting represents a slightly different style for me although I like the energy and movement in the people. Only one person isn't moving, the guy leaning on the rails browsing over the station.

Editions are Limited to 10 full size prints, 20 mid size and 30 half size. All are relief Geclee prints; that is printed on stretched canvas after which I paint on a thick acrylic coat that gives the painting a very realistic texture and depth.
