I will let you into a secret, I rarely think about the fact that I am in a wheelchair. Even when I come to a step it does not really cross my mind. In addition I rarely see myself since most mirrors are hung at a level that I only get a neck up view. So, I only really see a full body shot of myself in shop windows and the shadow I cast. This was one of those bright autumn days I was out with my sketch book looking for interesting images and I saw my shadow. I like it as it is not immediately obvious what is going on and the image is distorted, as it is in my mind.
