I love this very thick, textured painting style - once I get over how much it is costing me for my latest experiment. It is bold and gives a completely different painting close up from when you stand back.

I conceived this painting just after the Full Moon party on Koh Phangang last March. We were in recovery and I woke up to see the sunset with everything still moving around. I like this painting as much for its texture as the memories it provides me Editions are Limited to 30 half size, 20 relief Geclee (mid size) and 10 full size relief Geclee prints. The 'Relief Geclee is a technique I've been working on where I apply a very thick, textured clear acrylic coat to the print. This captures the lights in a similar way to the original, produces an individual textured effect and deepens the colours in the print. A very good reproduction of the original.
